The duo traveled for a few years bringing raw and rhythmic country blues to listeners in a variety of settings. The two are also part of a gospel group known as Miss Katie Rae & the Ebenezer Boys. That group includes Prairie Dog recording artist Dr. John Walker and the lovely Miss Katie Rae, Rachel Mulcahey.
Shawn’s skills as a musician and songwriter have allowed him to record with several groups. Most notably he recorded on two occasions with the band Bright Eyes. The C.D. “Lifted” has sold nearly 150,000 copies.
Shawn also collaborated with musician Hemant Desai and recorded under the band name World Vu.
A solo project released a few years ago titled “On My Mind” has introduced many people to Shawn’s poetic song writing. His more recent works reflect the rural lifestyle he now enjoys. When not performing or teaching you are likely to find him near a lake, with fly rod in hand.
